TALBOT COUNTY, MARYLAND

MUNICIPALITIES

Talbot County has five municipalities: Easton, Oxford, Queen Anne, St. Michaels, and Trappe. Of these, Easton, the county seat, was the first to form its own government in 1790. It was followed by St. Michaels (1804), Trappe (1827), Oxford (1852), and Queen Anne (1953).
