Report to Governor & General Assembly due Dec. 1, 2000.

In November 1999, the Task Force on Food Allergies and Restaurant Patrons formed (Chapter 226, Acts of 1999). The Task Force will examine the concerns of, and problems encountered by, persons with a food allergy who eat in restaurants. After consulting with the federal Food and Drug Administration on food labeling laws and policies, the Task Force will recommend measures to address the problems and concerns it has identified.

Authorization for the Task Force continues through April 30, 2001.
