Member, Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department (past president - youngest in history - 1979); Arbutus Community Association. Member, English Consul, 1st District and 12th District Democratic Clubs. Member, Halethorpe Kiwanis; Sons of the American Legion. Outstanding Citizenship Award, Arbutus Lions Club, 1979. Distinguished Service Award, Baltimore County Fire Department, 1990. Married; two children.
