PREFACE TO VOLUME II.

THE general arrangement of the Code has been fully
explained in the Preface to the first volume.

In the second volume the Counties are alphabetically
arranged, and each County forms a distinct Article.

Each County has a separate Index at the commencement,

referring to the Sections of the Article.

The Acts of the G-eneral Assembly of eighteen hundred and
sixty, are distinguished in this, as in the first volume, by an
asterisk (*) prefixed to each Section.

Whenever reference is made in this volume to an Article
and Section of the Code, the reference is to an Article and
Section of volume one, or Code of Public General Laws.

HENRY C. MACKALL.

WII.ITA, OECH COUNTY, May, 1860.
