                      request you will give notice to your Battalion to

                      render as soon as possible that things may be in

                      few and cross for the execution of such invassends

                      as may be solved only by the Convention, which

                      it is beged, etc. It is extremely fortunate that

                      we have been able to print nearly all these letters

                      from the original autographs.
